ROCK HILL, SC – One person was killed and two were injured in a car accident on Old York Road on Monday afternoon, WCCB reports.
The crash happened around 4pm on Old York Road at Pennington Road on Monday, January 17.
According to officials, the incident happened when a driver ignored a red light and was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died from their injuries.
The two people in the vehicle that struck the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
