COLUMBIA, SC – A driver from Columbia was killed in a car accident on Leesburg Road on Sunday, WIS reports.
The crash happened around 3am on Leesburg Road at Newell Road on Sunday, January 9.
According to officials, the victim, identified as Donald D. Wheeler, Jr., 49, was struck by another car and fully engulfed.
The Columbia Police Department and the Richland County Coroner’s Office are investigating the crash.
