DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC -According to WMBF, two drivers fatally collided with a female pedestrian on I-95 near Exit 169 on Wednesday.
The drivers of a 2000 Kenworth semi-truck and a 2003 Toyota SUV were heading south on I-95 when they struck Carrie Bounds as she walked on the road around 3:30 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Bounds dead at the scene. Nobody in the two vehicles was hurt in the incident.
The Darlington County Coroner deemed Bounds’s death an accident.
