SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC – A suspected impaired driver fatally struck another vehicle on Hwy 14 near Ford Ln Tuesday, according to WBTW.
Ronald Edward Watkins, 54, was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck west on Hwy 14 when he hit an eastbound Ford driven by Jamie Nicole Belue around 6 p.m.
Authorities arrested Watkins and charged him with felony DUI involving death.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
