MYRTLE BEACH, SC – According to WMBF, a driver was arrested after he fatally struck a pedestrian at Farrow Pkwy and Fred Nash Blvd Friday.
Juan Carlos Ayala-Morales, 39, struck Timothy Jodoin, 55, around 6 p.m. Rescue crews transported Jodoin to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, authorities arrested Ayala-Morales for driving without a license. Ayala-Morales paid a $232 fine Sunday.
The incident is under investigation by the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
