NICHOLS, SC – According to WMBF, a person lost their life in a two-car collision at SC 19 and SC 917 Wednesday.
A Honda sedan driver was traveling on SC 917 when it attempted to turn right onto SC 19 and collided with a Chevrolet SUV around 5:41 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced one passenger from the SUV dead at the scene of the accident. They also transported the sedan driver and another passenger from the SUV to an area hospital.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol with assistance from the Horry County Police Department.
