LEXINGTON, SC – A man lost his life in a single-vehicle collision at Augusta Hwy and Calks Ferry Rd Sunday, according to WIS.
Giovani Maya Garcia, 21, was heading south on Calks Ferry Rd when he strayed off the roadway and collided with a traffic signal at around 4 a.m.
The impact ejected Garcia from the vehicle. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene of the accident.
The cause of the incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
