COLUMBIA, SC – A truck driver collided with a University of South Carolina student riding a scooter at 800 Main St on Monday, according to WIS.

Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with minor lacerations.

The Columbia Police Department is investigating the incident. They may charge the truck driver after they watch video of the incident and take witness statements.
