ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC – According to WOLO, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian at US 601 and St. Matthews Rd on Dec. 21.
A person driving a 2003 Crown Victoria hit the victim as they were crossing the street around 2:06 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital, where they died.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
