WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal auto vs. pedestrian collision that happened at US 52 and Jessica Ln on Dec. 8, according to WCIV.

A person driving a 2014 Honda Accord was heading east on US 52 when they struck a pedestrian walking on the highway.

Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
