RIDGEWAY, SC – Officials have released the name of the man who died in a two-vehicle collision on US 21 near US 21 Connector on September 20, according to WOLO.
Jerome Montgomery, 56, was driving a sedan when he collided with a 1992 semi-truck turning left onto US 21 Connector around 6 p.m. The collision sent Montgomery off the road, where he crashed into a tree.
Paramedics took Montgomery to an area hospital, where he died.
The semi-truck driver was uninjured in the collision.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
