ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC – According to WIS, Lake City officials have released the name of the bus driver who was hurt in a collision involving a semi-truck at US 301 and Bonner Ave Thursday.

Ronald Baker was driving a minibus north on Bonner Ave when he collided with a semi-truck heading west on US 301 around 1 p.m.

Rescue crews transported Baker and four students to area hospitals following the collision.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
