SUMMERVILLE, SC – A woman is injured after she was struck by two vehicles on Highway 78 on Thursday night, WCSC reports.

According to a report, the incident happened around 10pm on Highway 78 near Bryan Street on Thursday, January 20.

The incident happened when a woman was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound and then was run over by a vehicle traveling eastbound.

She was transported to an area hospital. The condition of her injuries is unknown.

The crash is under investigation and police are searching for information on the second vehicle involved.
