HARTSVILLE, SC – A driver lost their life after they collided with a firetruck on Ruby Rd near Old Camden Rd Monday, according to WBTW.
The driver of a Kia SUV was on northbound Ruby Rd when they crossed into the southbound lanes and struck the firetruck, which was responding to a structure fire, around 12:45 a.m.
EMS crews pronounced the Kia driver dead at the scene of the accident and transported the firetruck driver to an area hospital, where he was treated and released.
