BENNETTSVILLE, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened on US 15 on Tuesday, according to WMBF.
A 2018 Chevy box truck driver was heading south on US 15 when they collided with a northbound Chevy SUV in the northbound traffic lane around 4:25 p.m. The crash caused the box truck to roll over.
The box truck driver died in the wreck. Rescue crews transported the SUV driver to an area hospital.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
